Dove

Orasay in Notting Hill may have closed its doors but that only made way for a new restaurant, Dove, to open. Servicing a menu using costly seafood proved prohibitive in the former guise. Chef Jackson Boxer has moved to cooking other dishes that light his fire, and that of discernible diners.
Ricotta dumplings, lobster cream, lime leaf and fried potato pizzette, bonito, burrata and Mortadella feature. Roast half herb-fed chicken, Tokyo turnips and Cafe De Paris butter also caught my eye. The menu is a well-considered work of culinary art. PL.
