Five Pink Drinks For July 2023

As Barbie hysteria hits its peak, this month’s new booze column stays true to theme – try these five new pink drinks for summer 2023.

M de Minuty x Hannah KL

We’re a sucker for a collab at Chatting Food and this Minuty M wines X Hanna KL pair-up has won our hearts. Swedish visual artist Hanna KL has created this gorgeous limited-edition bottle design for Minuty’s Côtes de Provence rose complete with vibrant floral and fruity depictions all inspired by the awakening of the senses in an ode to summer days in the south of France. We can vouch for the wine itself too. Tres bonne!

Rozél Vodka

Continuing with the rosé theme, here’s the UK’s first rosé vodka from Rozél. Inspired by the fruity flavours of a Provence rosé wine, the light blush-coloured vodka has raspberry, white peach and pink grapefruit flavours, creating a ‘delicately fruity blush vodka’ presented in an iconic looking pink ribbed bottle. Pair this with some Fever-Tree Raspberry and Rose Lemonade for a summer spritz of perfect proportions. We think Barbie would approve!

LA Brewery in Selfridges

You can now pick up LA Brewery’s range at Selfridges, Oxford Street. Keep it strictly pink with their Strawberry & Rhubarb Kombucha – a sharp and bitter-tasting drink with a splash of carrot, lemon and blackcurrant. Or for a delightful summer garden option, try their incredibly light and fresh English Rosé kombucha, which has been infused with white rose petals and elderflower, delicately dry with a floral finish. LA Brewery's Kombucha is made from lightly fermented white Monkey and Assam teas, giving the range an extra light and delicate finish.

The Suffolk-based microbrewery is proudly B-Corp certified and runs on 100% dark green energy.

Vinca Wines

Round off your summer park days with this new pale rosé in a can! Vinca’s Co-Founder Jack Green quit his job as a wine buyer to launch a sustainably minded brand. He's sourced his favourite Sicilian wines, grown in family-owned vineyards, and packaged them up in fully recyclable cans. Vinca’s pale rosé is made from 100% Syrah grapes which have been carefully pressed to produce a delicate wine with notes of red fruits and a slight spice to the finish.

Mollie Côtes de Provence

We think if Barbie had a fourth sibling after Skipper, Stacey and Chelsea, she would deffo be called Mollie. This French rosé launches this July and is exclusively available from the Bottle Club. Mollie Côtes de Provence is described as ‘ultra-pale, bright pink in colour, with light purple' hints. Drink it as an aperitif, or pair it with Greek salad, fried calamari or burrata and pesto or while watching the Barbie movie (obvs). Look out for Mollie popping up at European hotspots like O Beach in Ibiza this summer too.
