This Easter, Le Swine is bringing back their limited edition butty box, the ‘Hot Cross Bacon Bun’.



Since launching in 2004, Le Swine has been renowned for serving Britain’s best bacon butty, earning its place as a national treasure. This Easter, the limited edition ‘Hot Cross Bacon Bun’ kit will be available for delivery nationwide just in time for the holiday weekend, delivered on Thursday, April 17th and available to pre-order now at www.leswine.co.uk.


In addition to the Butty Box, Le Swine will also serve these treats at the East Sheen café throughout Easter weekend, from Friday to Sunday. Be sure to arrive early, as they tend to sell out quickly— and it's first come, first served! The mouthwatering Easter special consists of Nicola's Lamb’s famous Hot Cross Buns, Date, roast fennel and Aleppo chilli ketchup, The Le Swine signature Ol’ fashioned middle bacon, and bacon butter.


The team at Le Swine have collaborated once again with renowned author and pastry chef Nicola Lamb for this Easter edition. Nicola's bestselling cookbook, Sift: The Elements of Great Baking, was published in 2024 and named the Sunday Times Food Book of the Year. With training from top bakeries in London and New York, including Dominique Ansel and Ottolenghi.


Nicola says, “I’m obsessed with making the softest, fluffiest buns possible. The bun is made with a rich spice infusion, fresh zest, lots of butter and plump soaked fruit. The infusion is made using fresh ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and earl grey. It’s made and steeped in advance to get a beautiful flavour running through the whole dough without it being overpowering. It’s the kind of scent that makes your heart flutter before you even bite into it. It’s definitely my dream hot cross bun".


Additionally, James and Nicola are together kicking off a nationwide competition to discover the most ‘divine’ hot cross bun. One lucky meal delivery kit will feature a ‘hole-y’ bun, and the winner will enjoy a breakfast with friends at Le Swine in London.
