Le Cordon Bleu London is pleased to introduce a new range of professional and recreational short courses to their wine and beverage offering.
Joining the diverse range of wine courses already available, the new courses focus on wine in a restaurant context and cover fascinating topics including different varieties of wine and other alcoholic drinks.
For those looking for a professional path, the Working with Wines and Beverages in a Restaurant and Managing the Wine and Beverage Offer in a Restaurant certificate courses introduce students to key techniques in wine analysis and evaluation skills, and how to curate the wine and beverage list in a restaurant setting, looking at menus and other factors.
These courses are ideal for anyone wishing to work as a sommelier or those looking to gain a better insight into how their restaurant's wine offering can best be managed.
If you’re looking for something fun and informative, there are new masterclasses available to give you a lesson in your choice of tipple.
Spend an evening exploring a specific beverage in-depth with a masterclass in Beer, Cider, Sake or Gin & Tonic. Alternatively, take a detailed look into wine from Bordeaux, learn about Fortified Wines, discover Rioja or simply enjoy an Initiation in Wine Appreciation.
This being Le Cordon Bleu, there are of course beverage classes with a culinary twist. Take part in an evening cooking at the institute’s CORD restaurant on Fleet Street, followed by wine pairings to enjoy with the food you have prepared. If you’re a cheese lover, explore the pleasures of pairing it with the perfect brew with the Beer and Cheese Pairing masterclass.
