Manchester's Side Street Reopens Doors

Manchester’s popular day/night destination, Side Street, has reopened following a two-week makeover ready for the party season.

The cocktail, kitchen and music hideaway celebrated a successful reopening this week on Wednesday 30th October, with an exclusive launch event that saw the who’s who of Manchester get together for live music, incredible food by Tartuffe, and killer coladas.

Located in Manchester’s St John’s district, on the ground floor of The ABC Buildings, the team has been working hard behind the scenes for the return of Side Street which now features:

  • Side Store - a day into night spot offering coffees, brunch,  £7 spritzes, and a bottle fridge for takeaway drinks

  • Side Bar - now ‘Home of the Colada’ boasting a £7 offer on retro twists of the classic rum cocktail including a Snowball Colada, Cocoa Colada as well as the Clarified Colada featuring Rum, Falernum, Coconut, Milk and Citrus

  • Side Space - will host an exciting new line up of club nights, pop up events, and gigs and open until 3am

With renowned Tartuffe by its side, Side Street has also returned with all-new lunch, dinner and brunch menus boasting tasty bites such as the much-loved Chicken Kiev sandwich, Macaroni Cheese, Squash Salad and a Rotisserie Chicken. Monkfish, Flat Iron Steak and a variety of snacks and sides are featured on the dinner menu alongside a Black Forest Gateau or Pineapple Cheesecake for dessert.

Brunch is a must-do at the venue with options including a unique sharing continental breakfast for two, The Tartuffe Steak, Rice Pudding, and Steak & Eggs. Two incredible Belgian waffle dishes also feature on the menu with either Black Forest winter berry compote or buttermilk fried chicken as toppings.

Alongside the ‘Home of the Colada’ menu, Side Street serves a selection of coffees, low and no options, spritzes, wines, beers, spirits and all the classic cocktails and is open Monday to Friday 8am until late and on Saturdays from 9am until late.
