Review: Rollagranola

When I was asked if I wanted to review the nutty goodness that is Rollagranola, I jumped at the chance to add another box to my cupboard and talk about what has already become a staple of my morning breakfasts.

With more of us at home and foregoing the morning commute to work, I can’t be the only one who has started to focus on creating a delicious breakfast in lieu of running out the door with a soggy piece of toast?

Granola isn’t just for summer health kicks, it’s for all year round, and adding a small family independent company producing this organic, vegan and gluten-free granola in the UK and you have the ingredients for a delicious start to your day.

The ‘how to eat me’ suggestion on the back of the box suggests adding a splash of dairy-free milk or yoghurt or on the top of some fresh protein pancakes. Though I am salivating at the idea of making up a stack of pancakes and may have to do this one weekend, my go-to is with a bowl of lactose-free Greek yoghurt, with warm blackberries and a drizzle of honey. (The warm fruit makes it a perfect transition to the colder mornings from fresh summer berries of summer.)

I don’t usually list all of the ingredients in a review, but I’m making an exception for this one. The Organic And Nutty box includes organic gluten-free oats, organic coconut sugar, organic sunflower oil, organic sunflower seeds, organic brazil nuts, organic cashew nuts, organic coconut chips, organic raisins, organic pumpkin seeds, organic almonds and organic desiccated coconut. That’s a whole lot of organic!

The simplicity of letting the flavours speak for themself without adding loads of sugar means this is not only delicious, but it is also healthy! (one portion is 197Kcal) You can see all of the ingredients, in all their glory, as soon as you pour them out into your dish. Also… the raisins. They really pop with flavour when you get one on your spoon and I am now a convert to dried fruit! Genius.

There is something for everyone, with a wide range of different boxes available to suit everyone- sweet, savoury, vegan, paleo, free-from, vegan- I think it would be a difficult task to find a box that didn’t suit your taste buds.

The next box on my to try will definitely be the Absolutely Chocolate Granola. Because healthy chocolate is an oxymoron I have to test! With Free shipping on your first order, why don’t you try out a box for yourself?

Rollagranola’s Organic & Nutty Granola is available to purchase from

rollagranola.com, Amazon, Ocado and selected independent health stores across the UK.

RRP £4.99 for a 350g box
